Jide Kosoko Says He Regrets Marrying Many Women

   Legendary Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko has revealed he regrets marrying more than one woman in his life.    The 62 year old actor revealed this in an interview with The Tribune. When asked if he planned to marry another woman, he said, “ Let me tell you, I don’t pray that my enemy should practice polygamy. And, this should be a lesson to the young ones coming. I know some people will say their religion permits it, but the religion did not enforce it. I have serious business to do now. I have young children to take care of. ” He also revealed that there is absolutely no chance of him marrying another woman or having more children. “ That will be madness. Stop Harassing Fayose – Ekiti PDP Elders Tells FG

A group, the Ekiti PDP Elders’ Forum, has accused the Federal Government of harassing and intimidating the Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose and top officials of the state government through institutions such as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the Department of State Security (DSS) among others. The group, therefore, called on the Presidency to stop such acts in the interest of peace and harmony in the country. Speaking on behalf of the group in Ado-Ekiti on Tuesday, former Deputy Governor, Chief Paul Alabi said the latest freezing of the account of Governor Fayose was the last straw that broke the camel’s back. Lagos Signs Historic Smart City Deal With Dubai

The Lagos State Government and the City of Dubai on Monday entered into a historic partnership that will see Lagos emerge as the first Smart City in Africa. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the Lagos Smart City was signed at the Emirate Towers, Dubai by the Lagos State Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Mr. Adeniji Kazeem and the Chief Executive Officer of Smart City Dubai LLC, Mr. Jabber Bin Hafez. The signing of the MOU, which would make Lagos the home of the very first Smart City in Africa, was witnessed by the Chairman of Dubai Holdings, His Excellency, Ahmad Bin Byat who is also the Deputy Prime Minister and the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode. Breaking news: FG sacks striking doctors

Isaac Adewole, minister of health, has directed chief medical directors (CMDs) and medical directors (MDs) of federal government tertiary health institutions to fill the vacancies created by resident doctors who have “abandoned” their training programme. According to Boade Akinola, spokesperson of the ministry, the directive was contained in a circular signed by Amina Shamaki, permanent secretary of the ministry. The circular reads: “It has come to the notice of the management of the ministry that some resident doctors in your establishment have voluntarily withdrawn from the residency training program by refusing to report for training without authorisation. public service rule, PSR 030402 (e) is relevant. “This is in spite of the ongoing negotiations on their demands put forward by the representatives of the National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) under the auspices of the Nigerian Medical Association. “In view of this development, you are hereb...
