Nigerian singer, D’banj‘s well hyped United Kingdom tour, which was scheduled to hold between November 11 to 13 failed to hold despite the artiste flying to the UK with fanfare for same purpose. The situation left thousands of fans who were looking forward to the shows disappointed especially when they were aware that Dbanj was in town after his grand entry into UK. The singer has explained the reason for his no-show, blaming the show promoters for securing his work permit ahead of the tour. He told The Aqua central news, “The promoters promised to secure the work permit and apparently didn’t and wanted me to perform without one and I couldn’t.’

Facebook-owned WhatsApp has finally started rolling out the much-awaited video-calling feature across platforms — Android, iOS and Windows. The feature is hitting all the three major mobile operating systems starting today. However, since the roll out is being done in a phased manner, it may take sometime to reach users globally. To make a video call, users simply need to click on the calling button at the top right corner inside the chat window and choose between ‘Voice’ and ‘Video’ calling options. Another point to remember here is that to make a video call, both the parties should have the latest version of the WhatsApp. The feature also allows users to switch from front camera to rear camera during a call as well as ‘mute the call’. In addition, users will also get notifications in case they miss a call. To call back, they simply need to tap on the same menu. EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, gave this indication in an interview with Daily Post on the sidelines of a training programme in Port Harcourt. Uwujaren, however, said the House of Representatives cannot direct the EFCC to investigate what he described as faceless wonder bank like MMM. He said the anti-graft agency was also watching other online schemes that promise huge returns on investments. The EFCC spokesman said preliminary investigations have shown that such online schemes thrive in countries that are facing economic recession. He warned that there was big chance of desperate subscribers on such platforms of losing their investments. “We can only arrest people based on the evidence that we have.
