Tragic!! 18 Seater Bus Plunges Into River In Ogun Killing 16 Passengers Aboard (Photo)


A fully loaded 18 seater Mazda commercial bus, yesterday, 1st of October, allegedly plunged into Iju River along Owode-Idiroko Road in Ado-Odo Ota LGA of Ogun State which is a kilometer from covenant University, Otta.


The white bus with registration number EPE 197 XG plunged into the river around 10.45am, according to reports, it was said to have taken off from Sango and was heading towards Atan-Idiroko when the driver lost control.


 Sadly, 16 of the occupants died while four others suffered injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital.
